Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. We had a darkroom at our home when I was young, and it was in that small corner of our basement where I learned the fundamentals. Through high school and college I worked as a photographer at The Punxsutawney Spirit newspaper, and I later worked with a tourist promotion agency to provide photos for brochures and other publications.
In recent years my photos have appeared in dozens of newspapers, web sites and magazines, including a 2004 edition of People.
A shot of mine was recently featured in an advertisement for Chevy, which appeared in USA Today, Sports Illustrated and the program for the 2006 Major League All-Star Game. Other photos of mine have also been featured in numerous children's books around the globe.
